Always Follow Your Bliss7/3/2014 Vending at The International New Age Trade Show last weekend was an amazing experience and as my husband and I embarked upon the long flight home, I was reminded how important it is to NEVER give up on your dreams.
Being a vendor at that show was a big dream come through for me and I couldn't help but wonder where I would be at this very moment, had I not stuck it out for so long... It hasn't been an easy road for me to follow. At the height of my business success back in 2005, I was on top of the world - literally with increasing sales and helping others throughout the WORLD...I really thought I was well on my way towards creating & sharing new hypnosis products and services that would someday change the way we process our information and beliefs..making life more enjoyable...more bearable. And then the internet market took a nose dive! (directly right alongside my life situation changing). Financial security was no more, I moved back home to MA., and no longer had the resources to create my beautiful healing products! Did it get me down? HELL NO - Because I had this burning desire to get back there! To get my hypnosis products back in the spotlight and help facilitate healing and personal freedom for my clients. It's hard to believe that I have been on the uphill climb back for almost 10 years..but I did it. All because I knew that no matter what went wrong (or right), what road blocks had been put in my path or what doubts about myself surfaced - That I should always follow my bliss! Here are some great tips to help keep you on track towards your personal bliss in life - because following your bliss, will always lead to fulfillment and true happiness! Help Me Interpret My Dream!4/12/2014 I have a pretty good idea on what this dream means for me, but I thought it would be fun to share it with you and get your thoughts on it. So...here goes! Last night, I had a dream that I lived on the top floor of an apartment complex. I guess you could say it was the penthouse apartment (duh, since it was on the top floor!). The building was as tall as a double Ferris Wheel. I know this because in my dream, there was a fair going on outside my apartment and the Ferris Wheel was set up right next to my balcony. People who were riding on the Ferris Wheel, kept getting off of it, when it would stop at my balcony and they would come in to see my apartment, hang out on the balcony, etc. It seemed like this dream went on forever - My husband and I were actually giving these people tours of the apartment! Towards the end of the night, I complained to my husband that the event outside my door was getting annoying. He suggested that he would go to the fair manager and have him move the Ferris Wheel away from the building. The last thing I remember before waking up, is saying to him...there is no way to move a Ferris Wheel, once it has been set up! Ok, my friends - what do YOU think the dream meant? I got up this morning and went straight to my morning routine as I always do on weekdays. Rolled out of bed - hair standing up as if I performed some type of rock concert in my sleep the night before, said my good mornings to the toilet bowl, sleepwalked my way to the kitchen to make my husbands lunch for the day, fed the cat and then finally poured myself a cup of coffee... and began thinking about my day ahead.
How did I get to the point in my life, where I am so far behind on everything that I wake every morning thinking about all of the things that I need to get caught up on? I do not know the answer to that...It's been so long now - and I've even managed to invite my friends and family to the let's get Michelle caught up party! In my weekly success driven group...I talk about what I am behind on and what I am going to do to get caught up...I ask my friends and family "What's wrong with me?" and they gladly tell me all of the thing that the think I can fix about myself. (then of course I get pissed at them for thinking they can tell me what to do...lol). I search online for advice and am directed to write a list of everything that I am behind on and "Chunk it down" to bite sized pieces so I can get caught up. Yeah, I'll do that. Now I can look at the long list of everything that I have fallen behind on! Great! And yet, I am still behind. Behind on my projects... Behind on my housework... Behind on my callbacks... Behind on paying my bills.... ****************************************************************************** What would happen if I began to focus on being ahead of things, instead of behind on them? And what could I put in place to help me get to the point where every morning I am thinking about what I am going to do next? So, I am going to start small, because let's face it - if I decided today to begin telling myself that I am ahead of things... that would be a lie and my subconscious would reject it like the plague! I'm sure that the chain of events that brought me to this point stated small as well. Perhaps with one little thing that I needed to get caught up with... by focusing mainly on that one thing, I could have easily tricked my brain into looking for everything that I was behind on to cause a snowball effect of constantly being behind.
I made myself this affirmation. In fact, I made several of them to hang around my home so that they are the first new thoughts to start my day. One is beside my bed. one is in the bathroom. One is on the refrigerator and one is hung above my coffee pot! I think it's already working....because today I am ahead on my blog-post for the week! Well..It's official. I have finished writing 100 pages of my upcoming book 'Playing Charades With the Deceased"! How Long Is Too Long...To Hold On?2/4/2014 I'm sure that many of you have been caught in the personal dilemma of knowing that you have stayed way to long in a relationship, friendship, job or situation. And once you realize it, it seems that you are Frozen in that moment, wondering if you have now missed all of the perfect opportunities to walk away with dignity and clear Karma. So you wait for the right time.....again Wait until the children start school....or have finished high-school...then college... or until you have <insert unattainable amount of money here> saved up..... maybe you stay because the person or situation still requires your attention Whatever your reasons are, you feel justified in waiting a little longer and yet at the same time feel trapped and stuck. You begin to believe that there is no way out. Your energy level drops significantly and maybe your emotions have got you so caught up in the fear of disconnecting that you are beginning to feel depressed. But seriously, How Long Is Too Long To Hold On? I know these feelings all too well, and although it's been many years since I have experienced them on the level that I just described, I can remember them and the power that they can hold over you, as if it were yesterday. And for those of us who are prone to "stay longer than we should", we seem to attract similar situations over again, throughout life. And when we are finally ready to love ourselves more than we love the fear and uncertainty - We realize that we haven't waited too long to let go and move on. That we have already met the challenges of this life lesson and that it is OK to detach. So how do we do this from a loving space? When I notice this happening in my life now, It is a different experience for me because I have learned how to evaluate the situation, realize what is best for me (which by the way, is usually what is best for all involved), and step away. Do I still tend to stay longer than I should? You betcha - but it's for a different reason now and I am able to handle it differently than I did many years ago.

Dealing with Negative Attachments6/28/2013
Hello There!
Today I'd like to talk to you about Negative Attachments and how you can either avoid or remove them, and what steps you can take to protect yourself from future attachments. What is a Negative Attachment anyway? A negative attachment is an energy source, that is affecting you in a negative way. These attachments can be as simple as "picking up" another persons emotional junk or can be as complex as a spirit attachment. One of the most common questions that I get is " Are Negative Attachments real?" and my answer to that is always the same... "It doesn't really matter if the attachment you are experiencing is real or perceived, what truly matters is that your psyche and personal energy are being affected by it. When our subconscious mind believes something to be true it is time to take action to remove the belief and get the mind back to balance and harmony"

How to Know if You Have A Negative Attachment
The rule of thumb that I like to follow is that if you think/believe/or feel that you may have a negative attachment, then chances are, you do! I encourage my clients to ALWAYS trust their instincts. For those of you who think you might have an attachment and are still questioning it, here is a list of symptoms that may be a result of a Negative Attachment: Sudden onset of tiredness, fatigue, feeling like your energy is drained, headaches, irritability, nightmares, hearing voices in your head, developing new habits/addictions, memory lapses, lack of ambition, feelings of anger/frustration, unexplained fits of rage, seeing a dark spirit or entity out of the corner of your eye, feeling like you are someone else, and/or physical illness.
*Please note that you may experience one or all of these symptoms and can also be a result of something else, so I suggest that you follow my first recommendation to trust your instincts.
Professional Help
If you have tried to remove an attachment yourself and are still experiencing symptoms, it may be an indication for you to seek the assistance of someone who has experience with releasing negative attachments. A trained professional will be able to help you remove the attachment and give you some helpful tips to keep yourself safe from future attachments.

Setting Healthy Boundaries1/1/2013 I was off and running straight out the gate! I was on fire and in the lead of my own life...running swift, smooth, almost floating on air... Finally finishing projects that I had promised myself I would do for years! Things that I had put off for way to long and had set aside until... Well, there was always an until in 2012! But this year was going to be different, or so I thought - and almost as soon as I could see that bright yellow finish line, those who I have trained extremely well at needing me more that I could ever need myself, almost threw themselves in front of me, tripping me up with: My life really sucks and I NEED you to stop what you are doing right now and help me! So I paused for a moment...and with much love in my heart and peace in my soul said "I'm really sorry that I can't help you, but I promised myself that I wouldn't sell myself short this year and falter from my own needs, like I did last year" and it feels good...really good! Much to my surprise, most people are fine with this response. The ones' that are not, I'm sure will eventually come around - but if they don't I will stay on track. Because it is so important to me to be an active participant in my own life...my own success. I also made a important realization. I realized that when I do not set healthy boundaries, I am not actually helping anybody at all! I'm creating a detrimental block for both myself and the person I am helping by keeping both of us from experiencing personal growth. Learning how to set boundaries was (and still is)my most difficult task AND the most important one for me this year! I am still in the baby phases and learning, but it feels good to use this tiny yet powerful phrase to help me set healthy boundaries.. Try it yourself today! The next time one of your boundary breakers steps in, simply say: "I'm really sorry that I cannot , but I promised myself that I would not and falter from my own needs like I did before."
